Steve Parks is the CEO of Convivio and a well-known figure in the agency world. He leads our work on developing ideas and tools to help agency leaders work on their businesses more proactively.

He was voted as one of the ten most inspirational people in the Benchpress survey of over 2,000 agency leaders in the UK.

Steve has led agencies for over fifteen years, from startups to 170 people in nine countries. He's now regularly invited to speak at agency events, sharing stories, ideas and tools for leading healthier agencies.

Steve began his career as a journalist for the BBC, producing and presenting programmes and reports on BBC Radio 4, 5-Live and World Service.

He's written four business books for Pearson, including the bestseller Start Your Business Week by Week.

Dr Joe Baker is Chief Research Officer at Convivio and co-editor of Agency Radar, Convivio's business intelligence service. Since 2016, Joe has led Convivio's technical consultancy and business research arms.

Joe has more than two decades of experience in digital agencies, central and local government, and the not-for-profit sector, in board roles as both director and trustee throughout that time.

With a strong academic background, Joe works with businesses to develop detailed, evidence-based strategies and implementation plans. He draws on thoroughgoing research, developing that into in-depth analysis of success factors and strategic risks, examining trends and opportunities.

He leads research on topics including the economic outlook, technology and innovation, the future of work and changes in the workplace, and more.
